Who are we?

We are an interdisciplinary initiative working at the intersection of place-thinking, listening, and creative inquiry. We believe that cities are not only physical systems to be organized, but living atmospheres to be experienced, interpreted, and collectively shaped. Through the integration of musical thinking and spatial understanding, we explore how sound, rhythm, memory, and affect influence the way people relate to their environments. We approach urban space not simply as form, but as resonance. We see artistic practice not as a supplement to urban inquiry, but as a critical medium for understanding, communicating, and transforming shared spatial experience.

What we do?

We design participatory experiences that help people sense, interpret, and articulate their relationship with place. Through workshops, collective listening practices, sound-based explorations, performances, spatial mappings, and co-creative exercises, we transform everyday experience into shared knowledge. Our work brings together citizens, students, artists, researchers, designers, and communities to develop new ways of understanding urban life through the full sensorium. We produce processes that expand spatial literacy and create alternative vocabularies for urban imagination, participation, and design.

How we do?

We work through co-generative and action-based methods grounded in attentive listening, collective experimentation, and creative expression. Our process moves between observation, interpretation, composition, reflection, and public sharing. Rather than extracting data or opinions, we cultivate situations where participants can recognize atmospheres, identify emotional and sensory patterns, and translate lived experience into expressive forms. We combine accessibility with rigor, and playfulness with critical inquiry, creating environments where listening becomes a civic act and participation becomes co-authorship.
